The shaped crest rails are intricately carved with rocaille and foliate motifs, centred by scrolling cartouches and framed by delicate floral flourishes, embodying the graceful asymmetry and fluid movement characteristic of the Louis XV aesthetic.
The walnut frames display a mellow patina consistent with age, lending depth and authenticity to their presentation.
